I think people who like 4chan can handle the anonymity but can't handle the interpersonal relationships that come from regular interactions, especially on Discord. Some /ic/ users made a discord for art-fags. But /co/ was kind of on a decline for quite some time. Especially since they purged furry content to /trash/ way back when. Since furry cartoons are a big part of western cartoons, but old mods and jannies lost their shit over it and preferred to spam SU out the ass.
