>4chan fucking died >this place and the sharty is slow as shit Is this the end of imageboard culture?
>>482030 Kill yourself or leave
>>482739 I wish I had some shrek boxers ngl.
>>483010 Facts. Even larger boards like /tv/ were essentially soul sucked by jannies, leaving only a corporate safe space. I fucking hate shills
>>483069 Nasty
>>483073 yup >redditors i know i know. but the same thing happened to them with the corporate sale, and that was all above water and in the open so its not even a conspiracy theory. they took all the big boards away from their real community jannies who were good and gave them to corporate friendly shills. then they deleted all the problematic reddit boards from the website for instance /r/jailbait was the 3rd most popular board on the website at the time. read the cnn articles about it if new. then it all came to a head when spez was caught deleting and editing people's posts on /r/thedonald that tilted him. same thing happened to 4chan when moot sold it, same thing happened to somethingawful after lowtax's secret service visit etc. all the big social websites from the early www era internet were either co-opted like that or they were killed off by a glowie-run competitor. for example how facebook stole its business model and code from some other social media website that predated myspace to kill off myspace. and now its well known that the facebook zucc founder story was made up and the company was actually launched by in-q-tel which is part of the cia's private tech sector. and thanks to snowden we know facebook was a cia project called lifelog (look it up on wikipedia if new, also look up in-q-tel, none of this is conspiracy theory its public knowledge)
>>483106 It's so fucked up how government agencies steer the culture. The only thing we can do is not participate in this big epic psyop theater.
https://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-38995205 >>483122 seriously, fuck them. i didn't even own a computer for 10yrs those were good times. go outside and do shit, become someone who matters and take their power away over time.

>>482050 It’s just speed, but think about it. If you have a question, it’s seen by thousands of lurkers who might have expertise. You can engage in real time conversation whenever. It acts as a news source, because anything, however minor will be mentioned in the stream of low effort threads/posts. Moderately slow boards, like /ck/ still have enough traffic to see new things daily, but this /ck/ has threads with one reply in 2022. Even if the quality is lower, you’re bound to have more gems in 10,000 low quality posts than 50 slightly higher quality posts. I won’t deny that it becomes adhd dopamine chasing, but these places are supposed to be fun, aren’t they? Anyway, you’ll be free of us pretty soon
>>483152 What is your idea of "fun"?
>>482849 Russian and Ukrainian groups quite obviously shilled 4chan. Why wouldn't others? It's so easy and those whom get turned will organically spread your message.
>>482005 >this place and the sharty is slow as shit So you would rather chat with bots? Fuck off.
>>483276 Russia was the 12th on the list. Ukraine is in the 50s. They are obviously not the same lol
>>483282 Oh I agree that Russia is much, much worse, but Azov definitely posted their own combat footage and I think even ran recruiting after the first invasion. I'm citing it as a clear cut example.
>>483152 Stop talking you have gained a $400 fine if you continue to keep talking you will be charged an additional $400 beep boop bop
>>482184 8kun has the same problem. The create your own board idea is good on paper but terrible and inefficient in execution. I saw multiple boards over there that seemed like they would appeal to me and yet they’re all dead and abandoned. It’s the same here outside of a few boards.
>>482184 This site could work if everyone uses /b/ and /v/ for everything, at least to begin with. The population is too low to spread out.
>>483152 >these places are supposed to be fun, aren’t they? No. The internet is srs bsns
>>482030 this. if this place doesn't get a MASSIVE spike in active users really fucking soon it's gonna go back to 0 PPH the moment 4chan comes back online. it's really sad that the imageboards that are good always end up desolate and unusable. >dood refreshing the first page constantly and seeing the same threads with 0 new replies like you're looking at a still image is not le hecking slow and unusable dood >you've just got battered wife syndrome dood cope
>>482020 >calling this place glacial you stole that line from me kek
>>483463 true 8channers only care to goon to interracial porn and loli pictures. take your shitposting back to 4cuck.
>>482050 you see that's the thing. PPH is what makes imageboards good. an imageboard with a low PPH is like a subreddit or forum where it takes days to get replies. it's pointless. you might aswell just use actual forums at that point. you'd probably find better, more intelligent discussions there anyway
>>483514 >Days to get a reply Nigger I'm right here.
>>482184 this. if your PPH is slow you should only have 1 board until that board picks up enough traffic for you to justify making more. scattering all your users across an infinite number of boards guarantees that your chan will never be usable
>>482020 just wait until JIDF redirects their bots here and things will be back to normal
4chan was infested with fucking normies they ruin everything they touch we need more sites like this where lolicons and zoophiles can thrive freely
>>482030 No dude it's good that there are still posts from 2021 on the front page. It's like being part of history
>>483552 what's the point of it being an imageboard then? why not just use an actual forum instead?
>>483560 the anonymity
